Glorious Maximus
I have been inspired by my friend, Amy, to write down and blog about my funny kids. Not only pictures of new things, but things they say and do. So here is my first:
Marshall came home from school a few weeks ago and told me they were studying the muscles of the body in his first grade class. He asked me if I knew what a glutenous maximus was. I told him I did know and we proceeded to talk about our fannies for a little bit. Well, then Sherman came along and got in on the conversation. He said to me, "Mom, do you have a Glorious maximus?" And I had to answer honestly that no, I do not have a glorious maximus. I told him once upon a time I MAY have had a glorious maximus, it depended on who you asked, but now I definitely do not have one. Payton was in on the conversation by then and proceeded to tell me that she thought I had a glorious maximus. She thinks my maximus is glorious because its all squishy and cute. Yes, I almost pinched her little head off right then and there. Number 1, why did I have these children? and Number 2, Will they ever see me naked again - NO. But it did get me thinking about my rear end in general. I've began another workout routine that I hope sticks this time. Maybe with some hard work, I can have a Glorious maximus again.
